In Committee from the Senate of Canada - Human Rights - May 26, 2014

The Senators examine how the mandates and the practices of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the United Nations Children’s FUND (UNICEF) are evolving to meet the needs of displaced children in conflict situations, in particular the current conflict in Syria. Testifying at the committee are the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada’s Leslie E. Norton and Dave Metcalfe, and the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s Sarita Bhatla.
