In the first part of the meeting, Furio De Angelis, Canada’s representative for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), answers questions about his organization’s efforts to help Syrian children in refugee camps and internally displaced youths.

In the second part of the meeting, Christophe Bernasconi, secretary general of The Hague Conference on Private International Law, speaks on the international child abduction convention and on the challenges his organization faces when trying to enforce the convention around the world.
