In Committee from the Senate of Canada

Foreign Affairs – September 25, 2014

The committee continues its study on the potential for increased Canada-United States-Mexico trade and investment.

Christopher Sands (senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, appearing as an individual) and Eric Miller (vice president of policy, innovation and competitiveness for the Canadian Council of Chief Executives) discuss some issues associated with tri-lateral trade agreements and provide suggestions to improve cross-border trading.

Colin Robertson (vice president, and fellow of the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary) and Carlo Dade (director for the centre on trade and investment policy at the Canada West Foundation) further the discussion by proposing additional suggestions to strengthen North American trade relations.
