Canadian Media Guild representatives Carmel Smyth, Marc-Philippe Laurin, and Jeanne d’Arc Umurungi testify as part of the committee’s ongoing study of the challenges faced by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in relation to the changing environment of broadcasting and communications. They discuss the importance of having a national public broadcaster and the need to provide adequate funding for CBC/Radio-Canada.
