Senators conduct their clause-by-clause review of a bill (C-428) to amend sections. Conservative MP Rob Clarke's private member's bill includes measures to increase the power of bands to pass bylaws, to remove all references to residential schools, and to change the laws restricting the sale of produce grown on First Nations lands to individuals off-reserve.
