Senators examine Bill C-6, An Act to implement the Convention on Cluster Munitions Sabine Nolke, the director general of non-proliferation and security threat reduction at Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada expresses her support for the bill and discusses the history of cluster munitions and Canada’s international role in the decommissioning of the weapons. Commodore Scott Bishop and Lieutenant-Colonel Chris Penny from National Defence also support the bill and explain some of the legal aspects of the proposed legislation.
