Éric Albert, executive vice-president of the Stingray Digital Group, testifies as part of the committee's study of the challenges faced by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Stingray is one of the world's leading multi-platform music service providers. In 2012, the Montreal-based company filed an unsuccessful complaint with the CRTC against the public broadcaster and its free music streaming service, claiming it had an unfair advantage because it has access to government funding.
