During the first segment of the meeting, Marc Tremblay, the acting assistant deputy minister of the governance, planning and policy sector for the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat discusses Bill S-205. The proposed legislation aims to amend parts of the Official Languages Act. As part of the second part of the meeting, Marc Tremblay is joined by his colleague, the chief human resources officer, Daniel Watson to discuss the committee’s study on the application of the Official Languages Act and of the regulations and directives made under it.
