Senators continue their study on international market access priorities for the Canadian agricultural and agri-food sector. Robin Horel (president and CEO) of the Canadian Poultry and Egg Processors Council and Bill Mailloux (vice-chair) and Phil Boyd (executive director) from the Turkey Farmers of Canada discuss various importing and exporting statistics and address and the need for policies that support the sustainability of the poultry industry. Keith Kuhl (president), Anne Fowlie (executive vice-president) and David Jones (manager, potato industry coordination) from the Canadian Horticultural Council discusses some of the difficulties in exporting crops.
