Appearing at the committee are Julie Miville- Dechêne, president of the Conseil du statut de la femme, Richard Kurland, an immigration lawyer and policy analyst appearing as an individual, Alia Hogban, executive director of the Canadian Council of Muslim Women, and Aruna Papp, research fellow at the Frontier Centre for Public Policy. The witnesses discuss honour-based violence, polygamous marriages, forced marriage, and more. (December 8, 2014)
