Former Liberal cabinet minister and B.C. premier Ujjal Dosanjh discusses terrorist threats facing Canada. He has been physically attacked and threatened for his criticism of Sikh extremism.
Senators also hear from two other witnesses who have been the victims of violence by extremists. Dave Hayer is a former B.C. MLA and the son of assassinated journalist Tara Singh Hayer. Balraj Deol, editor of a Punjabi weekly newspaper, was brutally attacked at home by Sikh extremists shortly after the Air India bombing in 1985. (February 16, 2015)
