Senators continue their study of best practices for language policies and second-language learning. Jim Murphy (e-teacher, French as a second language) from the Centre for Distance Learning and Innovation, Lesley Doell (French language consultant) of the French Language Resource Centre, Chantal Bourbonnais (executive director) from the Canadian Association of Immersion Teachers, Claude Germain (associate professor) of the Université du Québec à Montréa, Stephanie Arnott (assistant professor, faculty of education) from the University of Ottawa and Norman Moyer provide numerous recommendations to help address some of the challenges associated with maintaining continued second language education for Canadian students.
