In Committee from the Senate of Canada - National Finance - March 31, 2015
Dan Albas, parliamentary secretary to the Treasury Board president, outlines legislation aimed at reducing red tape faced by businesses. Bill C-21 will enshrine the one-for-one rule in law: when a new regulation is introduced, an existing regulation must be repealed. Michael Vandergrift (assistant secretary, regulatory affairs) from the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat and Gabe Hayos (vice president of taxation) of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada provide additional testimony.
