Senators continue their studies of Bill S-205 and of best practices for language policies and second-language learning in a context of linguistic duality or plurality. Federal official languages commissioner Graham Fraser discusses his latest annual report, the need to increase the number of post-secondary classes available in both official languages, and expresses his support for Bill S-205. Senior department officials Mary Donaghy (assistant commissioner, policy and communications branch), Ghislaine Saikaley (assistant commissioner, compliance assurance branch) and Johane Tremblay (director and general counsel) also appear.
