Human rights activist and writer Ayaan Hirsi Ali addresses the threats posed by radical Islam and how an ad hoc approach to fighting extremism has empowered the enemy. She is the final witness for the committee's study on security and terrorist threats against Canada.
The Somali-born writer and former Dutch politician has received frequent death threats from extremists for renouncing and criticising Islam. She now lives in the United States. (June 8, 2015)
