In Committee from the Senate of Canada
Official Languages - June 15, 2015
The committee continues its hearings on Bill S-205, which concerns federal institutions' obligation to provide services in both official languages. Canada Post executives Bonnie Boretsky (vice-president, general counsel and corporate secretary) and Amanda Maltby (general manager of compliance) outline the Crown corporation's comprehensive official languages program and its commitment to providing services to clients in the official language of their choice. Jocelyne Lalonde, executive director of the Association des collèges et universités de la francophonie canadienne, shares her organization's viewpoints of the bill. She also comments on the committee's other study on the application of the Official Languages Act. (June 15, 2015)
