Senate Opposition Leader Claude Carignan presents his bill to give more powers to police officers to test for drug-impaired driving. Bill S-230 would amend the Criminal Code to authorize the use of roadside saliva drug-screening devices, as well as the taking of samples of bodily substances for testing. Representatives from three companies that provide drug testing devices testify during the second part of the meeting.
