The committee begins its study on the modernization of the Official Languages Act. The objective of the study is to collect recommendations and opinions from various segments of the Canadian population, in particular from youth, stakeholders who have seen the evolution of the Act, official language minority communities, the justice sector, and federal institutions. Justin Johnson (president of the Fédération de la jeunesse canadienne-française) and Josée Vaillancourt (executive director) share their views during the first panel.
