Senators conduct their clause-by-clause review of Bill S-228. Conservative Senator Nancy Greene Raine introduced her bill in September 2016, with the aim of cutting down childhood obesity in Canada.
The bill would amend the Food and Drugs Act and prohibit the marketing of food and beverages to children under the age of 13 years.
