The committee proceeds to study new and emerging issues for Canadian importers and exporters in North American and global markets, including the potential U.S. withdrawal from NAFTA and more. Participating in the study are C.D. Howe Institute’s Jeremy Kronick (senior policy analyst), Export Development Canada’s Peter Hall (chief economist), Carleton University’s Meredith Lilly (Simon Reisman Chair in International Affairs at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs), and University of Toronto’s Walid Hejazi (associate professor at the Rotman School of Management).
