Cannabis Bill: Concerns from Doctors and School Boards

Social Affairs, Science and Technology – April 19, 2018: Doctors, public health groups, addiction services, and school board associations speak on the issue of youth cannabis consumption, harm reduction programs, and more during the committee’s study on Bill C-45, the government’s legislation to legalize cannabis.

Participating in the committee’s study are the Canadian Public Health Association’s Ian Culbert; the City of Toronto Health Unit’s Dr. Eileen de Villa and Sudha Sabanadesan; the College of Family Physicians of Canada’s Dr. Christine Campbell; the Association pour la santé publique du Québec’s Lucie Granger; the Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services’ Marion Wright and -Andrew Mendes; the Pan-Canadian Joint Consortium for School Health’s Katherine Eberl Kelly; as well as the Canadian School Boards Association’s Josh Watt.
