Canadian Importers and Exporters Association Says Times Have Changed

Agriculture and Forestry – April 26, 2018:

Representatives from the Canadian Association of Importers and Exporters and Canada’s canola industry discuss Canada’s reputation as a food producer, the rise in protectionism around the world, the impact of a carbon tax, and more.

Participating in the study on how the value-added food sector can be more competitive in the global market are the Canola Council of Canada’s Brian Innes; the Canadian Canola Growers Association’s Jack Froese and Catherine Scovil; the Canadian Oilseed Processors Association’s Chris Vervaet; as well as the Canadian Association of Importers and Exporters’ Joy Nott and Keith Mussar.
