Transport and Communications – May 8, 2018:

Senators hear from academics and researchers on Bill S-245, an act to declare the Trans Mountain pipeline project beneficial to Canada.

Participating in the study on Bill S-245 are Benjamin Dachis (associate director of research at the C.D. Howe Institute); Jack Mintz (president’s fellow at the University of Calgary’s School of Public Policy), and Dwight Newman (professor of law and Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Rights in Constitutional and International Law at the University of Saskatchewan).
