Senators continue their study on challenges relating to First Nations infrastructure on reserves.

Daniel Leclair, Karl Carisse, David Smith and Allan Clarke from Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada outline the role of their organizations and discuss some of the funding and maintenance required to repair existing infrastructure and what needs to be done to expand reserves. Greg Smith of PPP Canada explains what public-private partnerships are, and how they can be utilized by First Nations to meet their infrastructure needs. Sony Perron from Heath Canada discusses his department’s programs and services that apply to the committee’s study.
