Government Operations and Estimates
Government Operations and Estimates (November 4, 2010) Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair was questioned over the expenses for the G8 and G20 summits. Blair said that he expects the Toronto police will be under its $124.8 million security budget. He also told the committee that the total damage from the protests and vandalism is about $2 million. Joyce Reynolds and Justin Taylor, two representatives from the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association, then testified on the impact of the summits on the food sector.
