Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics (September 29, 2011)

Federal Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner Mary Dawson briefed committee members on some the issues that her office has been dealing with.

Dawson also informed the committee that she will not be investigating the Conservative Party's complaint over union sponsorships at the NDP's recent annual convention in June. The commissioner added that she has referred the matter to Elections Canada.
