Michael Ferguson, the government's nominee for Canada's next auditor general, was questioned by MPs. Opposition parties have criticized the nomination, citing the his lack of proficiency in French, as well as his lack of federal experience. Ferguson is the former auditor general and deputy finance minister for New Brunswick.
