Information Commissioner Suzanne Legault and Ethics Commissioner Mary Dawson discussed the main estimates for their respective offices.
Legault spoke about her department’s effort over the last year to improve the speed and efficiency of investigations. She also responded to questions concerning case management and cost reduction strategies.
During the second part of the meeting, Dawson spoke about her department’s investigation practices, caseload, and resolution of staffing issues. She was also briefly asked about her recent report on Industry Minister Christian Paradis.
