Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics
Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics (April 24, 2012) Former Liberal staffer Adam Carroll testified about his use of parliamentary resources to reveal divorce details of Public Safety Minister Vic Toews on Twitter. He resigned after the Vikileaks30 account was traced to his computer by House of Commons IT staff. Carroll discussed his reasons for creating the account and insisted that he worked alone using publically available information. He also responded to questions from MPs on topics including the nature of his former position within the Liberal Party.
