Official Languages Commissioner Graham Fraser appeared before the committee to discuss his department’s main estimates for the current fiscal year.

The commissioner spoke about issues such as the protection of language rights, the availability of existing language programs across the country, and the department’s upcoming initiatives. Assistant commissioners Ghislaine Charlebois, Lise Cloutier and Sylvain Giguère also responded to questions from MPs.
