Government Operations and Estimates (May 28, 2012)

Senior government officials from the Department of Canadian Heritage and agencies that act in the interest of public servants discussed their departments’ main estimates for the fiscal year.

Officials from Canadian Heritage spoke about the department’s spending priorities and how recent budget cuts will affect its programs.

In the second part of the meeting, officials from the Public Service Commission of Canada, the Public Service Staffing Tribunal, the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Tribunal, and the Public Service Labour Relations Board spoke about the nature of their agencies’ work and spending plans.
