Citizenship and Immigration (June 12, 2012)

MPs continued their study on the security of Canada's immigration system.

Jayne Stoyles from the Canadian Centre for International Justice spoke about Canada's immigration regarding people who have been convicted of war crimes. Loly Rico of the Canadian Council for Refugees discussed the effects that living in detention centres have on refugees. She also spoke about the possible alternatives to detention.
