Special Cooperatives (July 25, 2012)

MPs heard from two panels as they continued their consideration of the status of cooperatives in Canada.

John Lahey from Alterna Savings and Al Diggins from the Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium shared their personal experiences with the cooperative business model in the first part of the session.

The session finished with testimony from Lorraine Bédard and Serge Riendeau, who were both representing Agropur cooperative, and Francine Ferland from the Fédération des coopératives de développement régional du Québec.
