The committee continues with its annual pre-budget consultations, where Canadians are invited to share their priorities for the federal budget.

The following witnesses offer their recommendations during the first part of the meeting: Harriett McLachlan and Leilani Farha (both with Canada Without Poverty); Daniel Demers (Canadian Cancer Society); Patti Miller (Canola Council of Canada); Bernard Brun (Desjardins Group); and Pierre Gaudreau (Réseau Solidarité Itinérance du Québec).

In the second part of the meeting, MPs hear about the priorities of these groups: Luc Godbout (as an individual); Henri Rothschild (Canada-Israel Industrial Research and Development Foundation); Juan Gomez (Toronto Board of Trade); and John Alho (University of Manitoba).
