In Committee from the House of Commons - Status of Women - March 21, 2013

Status of Women

Liberal MP Judy Sgro raises a point of order related to a witness who wishes to testify as part of the committee's on-going investigation of sexual harassment in the workplace. The witness is a former RCMP officer who has been prevented by the committee from testifying due to her involvement in a current class-action lawsuit against the force. MPs had been scheduled to hear from other witnesses, but instead went in-camera to discuss the issue.
