The committee continues with its annual pre-budget consultations, where Canadians are invited to share their priorities for the federal budget.

The following witnesses offer their recommendations during the first part of the meeting: David Hulchanski (University of Toronto, as an individual); Nicolas Girard (Agence métropolitaine de transport); Gary Simonsen (Canadian Real Estate Association); Barry McLellan (Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre); and David F. Goldstein (Tourism Industry Association of Canada).

MPs then hear from Justin Smith (Calgary Chamber of Commerce); Alex Scholten (Canadian Convenience Stores Association); David Phillips (Credit Union Central of Canada); Daniel Roussel (Desjardins Group); Brad Woodside (Federation of Canadian Municipalities); David Marit (Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities); and Claire Bolduc (Solidarité rurale du Québec) during the second part of the meeting.
