The committee hears from two panels on proposed changes to the federal public service that are contained in C-4, the budget implementation bill.

Ian Lee (Carleton University, as an individual); Hassan Yussuff (Canadian Labour Congress); Gregory Thomas (Canadian Taxpayers Federation); Benjamin Dachis (C.D. Howe Institute); Robyn Benson and Edith Bramwell (both representing the Public Service Alliance of Canada); and Chad Stroud (Unifor) testify during the first panel.

The following witnesses offer their thoughts during the second part of the meeting: Steven Barrett (Sack Goldblatt Mitchell, as as an individual); Lisa Blais (Association of Justice Counsel); Isabelle Roy (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada); Gareth Neilson (Fair Pensions for All); Robert Murray (Frontier Centre for Public Policy); and Robert Pruden (Postmedia Network Inc., as an individual).
