Senior officials from numerous government departments go through measures of the bill including penalties for abusing the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, the release of personal tax information of Canadian-American dual citizens to the U.S. under the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), changes to veteran benefits and compensations, and the restructuring of federal tribunals. (May 6, 2014) UPDATE: Bill C-31 received royal assent on June 19.
