The committee studies the Government’s open data practices. Appearing at the committee are Carleton University’s Mary Francoli, City of Quebec’s Denis Deslauriers, the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Alton Hollett, and City of Montreal’s Harout Chitilian and Jean-Pierre Fortin. The witnesses highlight the issue with data quality and discuss how open data collaborations with the public can improve various government services. (May 13, 2014)
