During the first hour, Minister of Labour Kellie Leitch presents her department's main estimates for 2014-2015. The minister responds to questions about the Labour Program and the changes made in Bill C-4 on the definition of the word "danger". Hélène Gosselin and Kin Choi from the Department of Employment and Social Development also respond to questions from committee members.

During the second hour, the committee discusses the renewal of the Labour Market Development Agreements with Monique Moreau from the Canadian Federation of Independent Business and Cammie Peirce of Unifor. (May 15, 2014)
