House of Commons Speaker Andrew appears at the committee to discuss the main estimates for the House. He announces that over $32 million has been saved from the House’s budget over the past two years. This was achieved due to reductions in areas such as the travel budget for MPS. Deputy House Clerk Marc Bosc , chief financial officer Mark G. Watters, chief human resources officer Pierre Parent, and chief information officer Stéphan Aubé also respond to questions.
