In Committee from the House of Commons - Procedure and House Affairs - June 17, 2014

Conservative members of the committee have requested a meeting to discuss the NDP’s allegedly improper use of House of Commons resources. They also want to invite the House of Commons deputy law clerk to brief the committee on the options available to recover $1.17 million in expenses that were recently deemed ineligible by the Board of Internal Economy. The Board ruled that the New Democrats improperly used their parliamentary resources for political mailouts. (June 17, 2014)
