The committee continues with its annual pre-budget consultations, where Canadians are invited to share their priorities for the federal budget. The following witnesses offer their recommendations during the first part of the meeting : Jim Mann (Alzheimer Society of Canada), Roberta Jamieson (Indspire), Graham Carr (Mitacs), Bruce Ireland (Neurological Health Charities Canada), and Ann Decter (YWCA Canada). In the second part of the meeting, MPs hear about the priorities of these groups: David T. Barnard (Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada), Travis Gordon (Canadian Alliance of Student Associations), Chris Simpson (Canadian Medical Association), Martha Friendly (Childcare Resource and Research Unit), and Victoria Nolan (Canadian National Institute for the Blind).
