Health care organizations dominate the witness list as the committee continues with its pre-budget consultations. Dr. Richard Klasa (Canadian Doctors for Medicare), Maureen O'Neil (Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement), David Sculthorpe (Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada), Douglas Keller-Hobson (Hope Air), and Barry McLellan (Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre) make up the first panel.
MPS then hear from Ghislain Picard and William Traverse (two chiefs with the Assembly of First Nations), Jessica McCormick (Canadian Federation of Students), Kathryn Hayashi (Centre for Drug Research and Development), Bill Rogers (National Initiative for Eating Disorders), and former senator Michael Kirby (Partners for Mental Health).
