The legislation would create at the federal level clear statutory rights to information, protection, participation, and restitution for victims of crime. He is joined by department officials Carole Morency and Pamela Arnott, as well as Kathy Thompson and Daryl Churney, officials from Public Safety, Don Head, the commissioner of Correctional Service of Canada, and Richard Clair, executive director general of the Parole Board of Canada.
