The committee continues with its annual pre-budget consultations, where Canadians are invited to share their priorities for the federal budget. The following witnesses offer their recommendations during the first part of the meeting : Michael Mahar (Amalgamated Transit Union), Jennifer Reynolds (Canadian Parks and Recreation Association), Michael Roschlau (Canadian Urban Transit Association), Domenic Mattina (Merit Canada), and Sunil Johal (Mowat Centre).
In the second part of the meeting, MPs hear about the priorities of these groups: Marcelin Joanis (university professor and researcher), Catherine Cobden (Canadian Climate Forum), Ray Orb (Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities), and David McKenna (Tourism Industry Association of Canada).
