The committee continues with its annual pre-budget consultations, where Canadians are invited to share their priorities for the federal budget. The following witnesses offer their recommendations during the first part of the meeting : Janet Annesley (Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers), Timothy M. Egan (Canadian Gas Association), Claire Seaborn (Canadian Intern Association), Éric Pineault (Institut de recherche et d'informations socio-économiques), and Patrick Gill (Toronto Region Board of Trade).
The committee then hears from Christopher Smillie (Canada's Building Trades Unions), Frédéric Julien (Canadian Arts Coalition), Julia Deans (Futurpreneur Canada), Scott Byrne (Monster Canada), and Christian Thivierge (Solidarité rurale du Québec). (October 29, 2014)
