MPs conduct their clause-by-clause review of the Tougher Penalties for Child Predators Act. Bill C-26 will amend the Criminal Code, the Canada Evidence Act and the Sex Offender Information Registration Act among other Acts. It will also enact the High Risk Child Sex Offender Database Act.
Senior government officials Nathalie Levman and Daryl Churney, as well as RCMP Assistant Commissioner Joe Oliver, answer the committee’s remaining questions on the legislation. (February 18, 2015)
