The committee continues its hearings on Bill C-51, the government’s anti-terrorism legislation. Appearing at this evening session are the following witnesses: Salim Mansur (political science associate professor, University of Western Ontario); Protect Our Privacy Coalition members Stephen Anderson (executive director, OpenMedia), Sukanya Pillay (executive director, Canadian Civil Liberties Association), and Connie Fournier (founder, Free Dominion); Garth Davies (criminology associate professor, Simon Fraser University); former senator Hugh Segal (master of Massey College); Louise Vincent (sister of slain warrant officer Patrice Vincent); and Christian Leuprecht (associated dean of the faculty of arts and associate professor, Royal Military College of Canada).
