Auditor General Michael Ferguson discusses his spring report on information technology investments managed by the Canada Border Services Agency. His office found that the Agency has had significant challenges in managing its information technology portfolio in a way that ensured it could deliver IT projects that meet requirements and deliver expected benefits. Senior officials Caroline Weber (vice-president, corporate affairs branch), Louis-Paul Normand (associate vice-president, information, science and information technology branch) and Chris Bucar (a/deputy CFO and director general, resource management) outline the steps that the Agency is taking to address the report's three recommendations.
